Love or Die! CRAVITY’s returning title track after their year-long world tour is exceptional. The boys of [MASTER : PIECE], who meticulously collected the puzzle pieces to mark the beginning of the 'Youth Trilogy', and [SUN SEEKER], who chased the sun to achieve their dreams, have completed [EVERSHINE], a symbol of growth where everyone aspires to shine together forever. M COUNTDOWN Magazine captures the boys emphasizing maturity as much as their thrilling song.
Hello, CRAVITY! Congratulations on completing your first world tour, <MASTERPIECE>. Wasn’t it challenging to travel around the world?
SERIM: Rather than getting tired during the <MASTERPIECE> tour, I received a lot of support from LUVITY overseas. It was truly heartening! I enjoyed delicious food and had fun sightseeing. It was a really wonderful time.
What have you learned and grown through this world tour?
HYEONGJUN: I think meeting so many fans and performing on so many different stages have really expanded my range of what I can express on stage.
Despite your busy schedule, you made a spectacular comeback with your seventh mini album [EVERSHINE], only five months after your sixth mini album [SUN SEEKER]. How did it feel to be back?
SEONGMIN: Most of all, we missed our LUVITY who have always supported us, and we are happy to finally show them the stage we have been working hard on for five months.
The so-called "Youth Trilogy" has come to an end, and I'm curious about the kind of youthfulness you captured in [EVERSHINE].
JUNGMO: While the previous albums focused on the journey of pursuing our dreams and goals, [EVERSHINE] this time captures our future—a testament to our youth that will forever shine.
As much as the album cover features a sky, the album seems to be centered around the color sky blue. ’C'est La Vie’ even has a phrase, "We don't need questions / Look at the blue sky you've been looking for.” What does ‘sky’ represent here?
WONJIN: In my opinion, I think the sky is a place where we can capture the emotions we desire and want to feel. Therefore, the phrase 'Look at the blue sky you've been looking for' suggests that without any questions, we should freely experience the joyful and exciting emotions that we've always wanted to cherish.

The title 'Love or Die' is a fast-paced song. From that perspective, it feels like a sequel to the previous title, ‘Ready or Not.’ Can you introduce what kind of song it is?
WOOBIN: ‘Love or Die’ is a song that expresses CRAVITY’s strong passion, “If it’s not love, I’ll die,” using rock bass with a fast tempo.
TAEYOUNG even mentioned it as “A new type of song that CRAVITY hadn’t tried before.” What do you think is the unique charm that 'Love or Die' possesses compared to CRAVITY's usual style?
TAEYOUNG: I believe that the most appealing aspect is our ability to showcase a more mature side of us, rather than the refreshing sounds typically presented by CRAVITY.
The song certainly has a clear hook, but what stands out are the impressive rap performances of SERIM and ALLEN. I heard you also participated in the lyrics. What thoughts inspired you while writing the lyrics?
SERIM: I wanted to express the situation of ‘Not being able to get away from you,’ and wrote lyrics incorporating the expressions 'nightmare' and 'addiction' to depict that. Oh, and LUVITY, please keep supporting us as always. Luv you. ❤️
ALLEN: I approached rapmaking with the mindset of ‘I gotta run!’ SInce the song is called ‘Love or Die,’ I wanted the lyrics to convey that desperation.
Above all, the hand sign choreography that appears during the chorus captures attention. Could you please provide a brief explanation?
HYEONGJUN: Following the lyrics of ‘Love or Die,’ make an ‘L’ with your left hand, then bring your right hand up to make a cross, and then bring your left hand back up over your hand for the ‘Die’ pose. Just follow along slowly as you watch the video - simple, right?
ALLEN participated in both composing and writing lyrics for ‘Over & Over.’ It was even your first time writing the entire lyrics on your own, weren’t you nervous?
ALLEN: I'm excited rather than nervous, as I can't wait to let LUVITY hear it. I'm so happy that the song I wrote is finally out in the world. I hope you guys enjoy it!!
WONJIN, what do you think is the killing point of this album? Please tell us why.
WONJIN: I believe it’s the 6th track made by ALLEN. It beautifully wraps up the album, leaving a lingering impression, making it even more of a killing point!
What goals do you have for [EVERSHINE]?
MINHEE: I wish I get to meet more LUVITY and have time to make eye contact in person.
Do you have any last words for the readers of M COUNTDOWN Magazine and LUVITY who are always by your side?
JUNGMO: Thank you so much, our beloved LUVITY, for always thinking of, cherishing, and supporting CRAVITY! Let’s enjoy listening to the great songs we’ve prepared this time!! Love you~ I always wish LUVITY all the best!
TAEYOUNG: Oh, and as we start 2024, I wish everyone reading this interview a very Happy New Year~ Keep going!
