Hello, it’s JO YURI. Please give a lot of interest and love for my new song ‘Taxi’!

Could you describe your second EP [LOVE ALL] for us? 
 

My album [LOVE ALL] captures the diverse shades of love.

The word ‘Love’ appears in your previous title songs ‘Love Shhh!,’ ‘Loveable’ and again in this album. Compared to your previous works, what kind of emotions of love does [LOVE ALL] sing about? 
 

This time, it's not just about romantic love. I've explored different perspectives, including separation, obsession, curiosity, and more.

The phrase [LOVE ALL] is also a term shouted at the start of some racquet sports games. Do you have any sports that you frequently watch or enjoy playing? 
 

I don't really have any...T_T

Could you introduce us to the title track ‘TAXI’? 
 

My title track ‘TAXI’ is a dance pop genre song capturing the excitement before the start of love and the endearing anxiety of potentially making a mistake.

In your new song ‘TAXI,’ which delights both the eyes and ears, which part should we particularly pay attention to? And could you also introduce a move that can be used for a challenge? 
 

I think the chorus, the third verse after the bridge, stands out. Many people have told me that they find this part particularly exhilarating.

Outside of the song's narrative, is JO YURI the type to approach things directly without circumventing? 
 

Yes! I'm quite straightforward in real life too.

Recently, DAY6's Young K, who has been gaining attention not only as a singer but also as a lyricist, contributed beautiful lyrics to your track ‘Lemon Black Tea’. Which part of this song touched your heart the most? 
 

“Oh, will I become your bias?” / Actually, I loved not just the lyrics but also this particular part itself, and his beautifully written words made me love it even more. It has a bold and endearing charm that comes through very well. 
 

Then, which track from [LOVE ALL] are you most attached to? 
 

It's ‘Bruise’. The moment I first heard it, I loved it. It candidly conveys the feelings of a breakup, which makes it even more heart-wrenching.

Your recent physical album was released in four different versions. Which concept did you like the most while shooting? 
 

I loved the angel concept the most!

There's also news that you were recently cast in the Netflix original, . Many people are curious about how you feel about joining such a globally successful production. Could you share your thoughts?

I will be putting my all into the filming, so I'd be grateful for all your support!

During your high school years, you were active in the drama club, showcasing an early interest in acting. Do you have any memorable episodes from that time? 
 

I fondly remember the time we participated in a drama festival and won an award!

You are making your mark as an ‘all-rounder’, transitioning from singing to acting. Is there anything else that ignites JO YURI's desire to take on new challenges? 
 

I don't think I have one yet. Now I'm trying to do what I'm doing well.
